Adele Stanley

My practice involves looking at everyday objects, mass produced images, and the spaces they occupy – physical, aesthetic and conceptual. It involves plaster casting, mould making and slip casting processes and also incorporates drawing, collage and screen printing. Experimentation and the experience of the working process allow ideas to develop and emerge. My practice involves examining and interrogating, exploring contexts and structures, and finding new ways to represent.
Adele gained a BDes in ceramics from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin in 2006, and completed an MA in ceramics at the Cardiff School of Art and Design in September 2010
