Ann Nolan
Ann designs a collection of luxurious fashion accessories based on the concept of lace making in Ireland. She has taken this time-honoured craft and transformed it into a 21st century design and through this merging of the past with the present a unique collection of 100% silk scarves with a history of meaning is offered to the wearer.
Ann graduated from the West Wales School of the Arts with a first class degree in 2000, she went on to complete a two-year master’s degree at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) USA graduating in 2005 with honours and went on to work at GAP, Scott Bodenner Studio in Brooklyn and returned to RISD as a visiting professor in 2007. She set up her studio in 2008.
