Emma burke
Emma Bourke is a visual artist working predominantly in glass. She graduated a BDes(Hons) in glass from the National College of Art and Design, 2009 and completed as International Student Exchange programme at Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, in 2008.
Bourkes written component of her BDes thesis forms part of the Blaschka Archive in the Rakow Library, Corning Museum of Glass, NY. She recieved a Crafts Council of Ireland Future Makers Award, 2009. In 2011, she exhibited at the National Glass Centre, Sunderland and Signal Arts Centre in Bray. Her work is in the permanent collection of the National Museum of Ireland.
